AvidXchange B2B campaign for the Charlotte-based “unicorn” (company valued over $1 billion) that automates accounts-payable for middle-market companies–enabling businesses to get rid of the paper and put it all online. In digital, we identified the archaic desk-clutter our target could say goodbye to–like paper clips, staplers, and those weird envelope-moistener things. For video, we created a miserable character named Gene who’s literally covered up by paperwork. The ongoing campaign has undoubtedly been a factor in helping the client grow–they were recently valued at just over $2 billion. Creative partner: Toliver Rinehart. Strategy: Jeff Gadway.
